Yanahuara offers a spectacular view of the volcanoes surrounding the city, such as Misti, Chachani and Pichu Pichu. In addition, in Yanahuara are the traditional "Callejuelas de Yanahuara", which retain their original seating structure.
The Añashuayco Quarries, known as the Ashlar Quarries, are a tourist attraction northwest of Arequipa. They are famous for being the main source of sillar for construction in the city.
Culebrillas Canyon is an archaeological site, composed of thirteen groupings of petroglyphs in forty-one panels. These designs, dating from pre-Hispanic to modern times, include zoomorphic and geometric figures. Recognized as a National Cultural Heritage Site, it offers a unique experience for visitors.
