On this tour you will have the opportunity to explore the Historic Center of Ica, including the historic Plaza de Armas and the remains of the Sanctuary of the Lord of Luren, followed by a visit to an authentic artisanal wine cellar to discover the process of making pisco. You will also visit the picturesque village of Cachiche, famous for its history related to witchcraft, and the mysterious 7-headed Palm Tree, before enjoying the spectacular Huacachina Lagoon, known as "the Oasis of America", where you can practice Tubulars and Sandboard on the majestic dunes or simply explore and capture souvenirs in its local stores.
Our day will begin around 11:30 am with a visit to the Plaza de Armas of Ica, a historical meeting point where the remains of the Sanctuary of the Lord of Luren are located, a site of great religious relevance in the region. Then, around 12:30 pm, we will move to an authentic artisanal wine cellar to discover the exciting process of making pisco, Peru's emblematic drink. During this experience, visitors will be able to taste wines, piscos, macerates and local cocktails, immersing themselves in the flavors of the region.
After lunch, scheduled between 13:30 and 14:30 pm in a country restaurant where they can enjoy the delicious local cuisine, we will continue our tour to the picturesque town of Cachiche, known for its history linked to witchcraft. Here, travelers will have the opportunity to explore the Witches' Park and listen to the fascinating local legends. Then, we will head to the enigmatic Palm Tree of the 7 heads, a place of great cultural and natural importance where visitors will be able to admire this impressive formation and learn about its historical significance.
At approximately 4:00 pm, we will head towards one of the highlights of our itinerary, the Huacachina Lagoon, known as the "Oasis of America". Here, travelers will be able to capture spectacular photographs and explore the local souvenir stores. Around 4:30 p.m., those who want a dose of adventure can opt to go tubing and sandboarding in the towering dunes surrounding the Huacachina Oasis, an activity included in the itinerary. For those who prefer a quieter experience, there will be free time to shop for local handicrafts or simply stroll around the area.
Finally, between 17:30 and 18:00 pm, we return to Ica's Main Square to conclude our day of exploration in this fascinating destination.
