ITINERARY
Experience Details
We will pick you up very early from your hotel at approximately 4:30 am, and then head to the community of "Pacchanta" a journey of approximately 3 hours. It is located in the foothills of the snow-capped mountain "Ausangate" at 4200 m.a.s.l. Its inhabitants, who are dedicated to the breeding of alpacas and the cultivation of native tubers, are all expert weavers. They use alpaca fiber to make their clothing and use alpaca meat as a source of protein. Native potatoes, fresh or traditionally made into chuño and moraya, provide the carbohydrates they need to fight the cold and physical exertion.
In this community is where we will receive our nutritious breakfast, then venture into the middle of the Andean mountain range to visit "7 beautiful lagoons of Ausangate", we will start with our walk and during the journey we will visit the lagoons of different colors characterized by their blue, turquoise and green colors. Also, some of them are large and look like natural mirrors. The lagoons to visit are: Azulcocha, Otorongo, Pucacocha, Alqacocha, Q'omercocha, Orqo Otorongo and China Otorongo, it will be a journey of 8 km. approximately (5 hours round trip).
Later we will return to the community of "Pacchanta" to enjoy the hot springs (optional) and after that our delicious lunch, to return to Cusco, after this wonderful experience, arriving approximately 19:00 pm.

Places You Will Visit
PACCHANTA
Located at the foot of this snow-capped colossus, Pacchanta offers natural hot springs that contrast with the cold surroundings, with temperatures ranging between 38ºC and 44ºC. It is a popular place for both Peruvian and foreign tourists.

Pucacocha Lake
Known as the chocolate lagoon due to the color of its waters, this first lagoon is located about 4,500 meters above sea level.

Patacocha Lake
Located at approximately 4,860 meters above sea level, its waters are clearer and offer a spectacular view of the snow-capped Ausangate.

Alqacocha Lake
At about 4,750 meters above sea level, this lagoon offers an impressive view of the snow-capped peak and the Vilcanota mountain range.

Qomercocha Lake
Known as the "Green Lagoon" due to the turquoise color of its waters, it is located at 4,666 meters above sea level and offers one of the best views of the area.

Orco Otorongo Lake
Located at 4,620 meters above sea level, this small lagoon resembles the fur of an otorongo, the feline that inhabits the jungles of the Americas.

China Otorongo Lake
Near the previous lagoon, it offers impressive panoramic views and is ideal for taking pictures.

Azul Cocha Lake
The last of the circuit, with its dark blue waters, offers a mountainous landscape that enchants tourists, who enjoy taking pictures in this beautiful place.

Important Information
Recommendations:
- Bring your original identity card or passport.
- Bring warm, waterproof or thermal clothing (jacket, scarf, gloves, hats).
- We suggest to do the tour with trekking shoes.
- Bring a small backpack with your camera, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen and a bottle of water.
- Raincoat in rainy season extra clothes (from October to March). Rain poncho.
- In case you want to go to the hot springs, bring a towel, sandals and bathing suit.
- Bring money, preferably soles.
