In the morning, we will pick you up at your hotel and head to the local San Pedro food market. Open daily, the market offers a wide variety of delicious items and provisions, including cheeses, *chuta* bread from Oropesa, tropical fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, fresh coca leaves, and some truly surprising products.
At the San Pedro Market, our chef will provide an overview of local ingredients (such as *ají amarillo* [yellow chili pepper], quinoa, various types of potatoes, mushrooms, *aguaymanto* [Cape gooseberry], etc.). You will have the opportunity to purchase these items and negotiate prices with local vendors.
Next, our chef will welcome you to their space and provide you with an apron to begin your private culinary lesson. We will start by preparing Peru’s most famous drink, the Pisco Sour. Afterward, working alongside the chef, you will prepare Peruvian appetizers and main courses. You will be involved in the entire preparation process and have the opportunity to interact with the chef, enjoying an enriching experience filled with stories and photographs.
