On this tour we will visit the Chilina Valley, where we will start a day full of adventure with an exciting bike ride through fields and local crops. Afterwards, we will go to the Chili River to enjoy a thrilling rafting session, negotiating rapids and ending with a refreshing dip in its waters. The day will conclude with a return to the hotel in Arequipa after about four hours of fun and intense activity.
Our tour starts at approximately 09:00 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in the city of Arequipa to go to the Chilina Valley. Once there, we will equip ourselves with bicycles and begin a tour through the extensive fields that characterize this area of southern Peru. During the bike ride, we will have the opportunity to observe the native flora and fauna and learn interesting details about the local crops.
We will continue our journey until we reach the Charcani Sanctuary, where we will take a break before starting the next activity of the day. Here we will start the rafting tour, we will get on the rafts, we will equip ourselves with helmets and life jackets, and we will begin the exciting adventure of rafting on the Chili River.
For about an hour and a half, we will navigate through the river rapids, overcoming challenges and enjoying different levels of difficulty. When we reach one of the calmest areas of the river, we will make a stop so you can swim in these waters surrounded by volcanic rock formations.
Once the rafting session is over, we will return to the bus to your hotel in Arequipa, concluding our excursion after about four hours of fun and exploration.
