Join us for an exciting rafting adventure on the Chili River, an experience that will leave you with unforgettable memories of your visit to Arequipa. Our tour begins at 9:00 am, with pick-up directly from your hotel in the city.
After a short 20 to 30 minute ride, we will arrive at the starting point at the Chapí de Charcani Virgin Grotto, where our team will welcome you with the specialized equipment necessary for this exciting journey. Before entering the waters of the river, our expert staff will provide you with a detailed orientation on safety measures, ensuring that you are prepared to enjoy the experience to the fullest.
With your bathing suit ready and a waterproof backpack to store your belongings, we will launch into the Chili River, a waterway that offers class II, III and IV rapids, challenging your dexterity and adrenaline with every turn and paddle. While you navigate, you will have the opportunity to delight yourself with the impressive walls of natural ashlar that make up the canyon, as well as to see the varied flora and fauna that inhabits its banks.
The water crossing lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, covering a total of 6 kilometers along the Chili River. At the end of this exciting descent, you will have time to contemplate the scenery and reflect on the experience before returning to your hotel in Arequipa.
