In this tour we will discover the ancient Cantalloc Aqueducts, also known as "Puquios", a group of 46 aqueducts built 1,500 years ago near Nazca. About 32 are still active and are an example of Nazca hydraulic engineering, used to supply water to their corn, cotton and bean crops.
On this day, our activity will start punctually at the agreed time. An air-conditioned vehicle will pick you up at your hotel in Nazca to take you to the fascinating Cantalloc Aqueducts. During the tour, a bilingual guide (EN / ES / PT) will be available to accompany you and provide detailed information about the sites we will visit.
Upon arrival at our destination, we will explore the ancient canals of Cantalloc also known as "Puquios", where you will walk alongside the impressive spiral holes and canals that the Nazca built with great skill centuries ago. Our guide will reveal the secrets of this remarkable hydraulic engineering and then we will enjoy a leisurely stroll through the surrounding fields to observe the varied crops that thrive in the fertile Nazca valley.
Finally, at the conclusion of the excursion, we will transfer you back to your hotel in Nazca, ensuring that you have enjoyed an enriching and memorable experience throughout the day.
