During this tour we will visit the traditional district of Barranco with the emblematic Bridge of Sighs and beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean, followed by a drive along the South Pacific Coastal Highway to the Citadel of Pachacamac, where we will explore temples, pyramids and sacred palaces of the ancient Inca civilization.
We start our day by picking you up at your hotel to begin our exciting tour. Between 09:00 and 09:45, we will explore the traditional and bohemian district of Barranco, where the beautiful cobblestone streets, colorful colonial houses, art galleries, as well as cozy bars and restaurants, will immerse us in its unique charm. We will visit the iconic Bridge of Sighs, from where we will enjoy panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, adding a visually stunning experience to our adventure.
Afterwards, between 09:45 and 10:45, we will continue our journey driving along the picturesque South Pacific Coastal Highway until we reach Pachacamac, the most important ceremonial center of the Peruvian coast during the pre-Inca and Inca times. At 10:45 a.m., we will begin our guided visit to the magnificent Citadel of Pachacamac, which will take us approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. This archaeological site is of utmost importance in Peru, housing pre-Hispanic temples, pyramids, plazas and other vestiges of the ancient Inca civilization.
Highlights include the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of the Moon and the Palace of the Virgins of the Sun, in addition to offering breathtaking views of the valley and the ocean.
At the end of our tour, we will return to your hotel, concluding this fascinating experience.
