Tour Overview

Day 1: City Tour in Cusco

Welcome and transfer to your hotel in Cusco. Walk with us through the magical city of Cusco, surrounded by Inca constructions that hide the most important treasures of Cusco. Starting at the majestic cathedral of Cusco symbol of Andean religious syncretism, then walk through the narrow streets made of stone and visit the Qoricancha known as the temple of the sun, we will board the tourist bus that will take us to Sacsaywaman, Qenko, Puca Pucara, Tambomachay, archaeological centers of important character of the Andean culture.

Day 2: Sacred Valley Tour

We prepare for the magical visit of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, visiting archaeological sites en route as Pisac and finally Ollantaytambo and then we will take the train to the lost city of the Incas.

Day 3: Machu Picchu Tour

Full Tour Itinerary

Day 1: City Tour in Cusco

Welcome and transfer to your hotel in Cusco. Tour with us the magical city of Cusco, surrounded by Inca constructions that hide the most important treasures of Cusco. Starting at the majestic cathedral of Cusco, symbol of Andean religious syncretism, then walk through the narrow streets made of stone and visit the Qoricancha known as the temple of the sun, we will board the tourist bus that will take us to Sacsaywaman, Qenko, Puca Pucara, Tambomachay, archaeological centers of important character of the Andean culture.

Day 2: Tour in the Sacred Valley of the Incas

Full day excursion. We will pick you up at 8:00 am from your hotel to go to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will start visiting the archaeological center of Pisac in 45 minutes, which will give you an idea of the advanced knowledge that the Incas achieved in architecture. From one of its many natural viewpoints, we will observe the impressive landscapes and natural snow-capped mountains of the Sacred Valley. We will have the opportunity to appreciate its famous and picturesque handicraft market and its different forms of commerce.

At noon, through the banks of the Vilcanota River, we will continue our journey to Urubamba to enjoy a delicious novo-Andean buffet lunch of exquisite Peruvian cuisine.

In the afternoon we will visit the fortress of Ollantaytambo which was a strategic military center. It is in Ollantaytambo that we will board the train to Aguas Calientes to visit Machu Picchu the following day.  We will spend the night in Aguas Calientes.

DAY 3

Very early we will go to the bus station, to ascend to 400 m high for 30 minutes, finally we arrive at the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu and enjoy the sunrise, the view is breathtaking, enjoy the guided tour for about 02 hours for you to know better the history and architecture of the Inca City of Machu Picchu.

You will be amazed with the Inca constructions and temples, as well as the natural environment that surrounds it. After the tour you will have free time to continue exploring and take pictures to remember your visit. In the afternoon we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes where you will have time for lunch, rest and visit the town of Aguas Calientes.  At the appointed time we will board the train back to Ollantaytambo where a staff member will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 4: Farewell and Transfer to Cusco Airport

On the last day, in Cusco, we will have free time to visit the parts of the city that we liked the most and also to buy some souvenirs. Finally our last activity will be to transfer you from your hotel to the airport in Cusco. We will have a farewell or Tupananchiskama, "Until we meet again".

THE VOYAGER- INKA RAIL

The Voyager train offers a service designed for passengers who want comfort and relaxation. The cars have capacity for 42 people, with comfortable seats, tables and panoramic windows. During the trip, relaxing music and a selection of local snacks are offered for sale on board.

Highlights

Pisac

Pisaq is another important town in the Sacred Valley, located approximately 31 kilometers east of Cusco. Pisac is known for its handicraft market, which is held every day and attracts tourists from all over the world. Here, visitors can find a wide variety of products, from textiles and jewelry to ceramics and food products. In addition, Pisac is famous for its archaeological complex, which includes agricultural terraces, temples, terraces and Inca tombs. From the top of the ruins, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the valley and the snow-capped peaks of the Andes.

Urubamba

Urubamba is a town located in the heart of the Sacred Valley, about 78 kilometers northwest of the city of Cusco. It is known for its beautiful natural landscape and its importance as an agricultural center in Inca times. In addition, Urubamba is an important tourist and service center in the region, where travelers often stop to enjoy the panoramic view of the valley and to enjoy its rich gastronomy.

Ollantaytambo

Ollantaytambo is another town in the Sacred Valley and one of the most important archaeological sites in the region. It was built by the Incas as a military fortress and administrative center. The ruins of Ollantaytambo show impressive Inca constructions, such as temples, agricultural terraces and water channels.

Chinchero

Chinchero is a quaint town located in the Sacred Valley, about 28 kilometers northwest of the city of Cusco. It is renowned for its vibrant handicraft market, where visitors can find a variety of textiles, ceramics and other handicrafts made by the local inhabitants. In addition, Chinchero boasts impressive Inca ruins, including agricultural terraces and architectural remains.
