ITINERARY
Very early in the morning, around 3:30 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to begin our journey southward. After an hour and a half drive, we will make our first stop in the town of Collca, where we will enjoy an energizing breakfast to start the day.
We will continue our journey for about two hours, passing beautiful Andean landscapes and the waters of the Langui lagoon, until we reach the district of Layo. Here we will make a brief stop to take pictures and learn about the importance of trout as the main resource in the area.
Just 15 minutes from there, we will arrive at the starting point of our hike. We will undertake a moderate ascent of approximately 1 hour along a scenic trail until we reach the Cóndor Sayana viewpoint (4,850 m.a.s.l.). From here, we will enjoy a privileged view of the districts of Layo and Langui, and of course, Pallay Punchu, whose colorful stripes are reminiscent of a traditional Andean poncho.
After exploring and taking our last photos, we will descend to board our transport and head to the restaurant, where a buffet lunch with local specialties awaits us. Finally, we will return to the city of Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:30 p.m. near the Plaza Mayor.
