DAY 1
Welcome to Lima, assistance upon arrival at Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima and transfer to the selected hotel located in the district of Miraflores, an hour's drive from the airport. This afternoon you can take the opportunity to visit the most traditional residential areas of Lima, the Larcomar and see the great view of the sea.
DAY 2
Very early, approximately at 4:30 am we will stop at your hotel to board the bus to the south of Peru and head to Paracas, on the way we will make strategic stops where you will also have time to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Approximately at 8:30 am we will arrive at Paracas Bay where we will start our trip to the Ballestas Islands by boat. On the way we will appreciate the Candelabro, which is a gigantic geoglyph very similar to the Nazca lines, as well as the marine diversity such as sea lions, pelicans, penguins and a variety of birds.
In the afternoon we will visit the wineries where we will have time for lunch choosing from the diversity of dishes offered by the Peruvian gastronomy. After lunch we will have a tour and learn about the process of making pisco and wine, Peru's flagship drink, as well as the tasting of each product interacting with a toast. Then we will go to Ica, we will visit the famous "Huacachina" a beautiful oasis in the middle of the desert surrounded by dunes and palm trees, we will enjoy its tranquility and natural beauty where we can take the best pictures. We will also enjoy a great adventure on sand carts and the practice of sandboarding. At the end of the tour we will go to the Ica bus station to take our bus to Nazca.
DAY 3
At an appropriate time transfer to Jorge Chavez International Airport to board your departure flight to the city of Cusco.
Welcome to Cusco and private transfer from the airport to your hotel in Cusco. In the afternoon you can take the opportunity to visit the magnificent city of Cusco, surrounded by Inca constructions that hides the most important treasures of the Inca culture, you can enjoy its culture and customs.
DAY 4
We will pick you up from your hotel at approximately 4:30 am, to board our vehicle and drive for 2 hours to the town of Mollepata, where we will enjoy our breakfast, then we will drive for 1 hour to reach the community of Soraypampa. To immediately recharge our batteries and start our 2km guided hike to the Humantay Lake for approximately 1:30 minutes, on the way we will have stunning views of the Humantay Lake and amazing viewpoints appreciating all the beauty of the place that will allow us to take stunning photographs for the memory (people who do not want to walk can rent a horse at the entrance control).
After staying in the Humantay lake contemplating the landscape and nature, we resume the walk to the starting point where we will enjoy lunch and then board the van back to the city of Cusco, arriving at approximately 17:00 pm, near the main square of Cusco.
DAY 5
Full day excursion. We will pick you up at 6:30 am from your hotel to head to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will start visiting the archaeological center of Chinchero and appreciate the exhibition of traditional looms. Then we will go to Moray, a peculiar archaeological complex of the Inca Culture, by the shape of the circular terraces, then we will visit the Salineras or Salt Mines, more than 3500 salt wells that give a different landscape to the Sacred Valley, in the course of the tour we will observe the impressive landscapes and snow-capped mountains that surround the Sacred Valley. At noon, through the banks of the Vilcanota River, we will continue our journey to Urubamba to enjoy a delicious Novo-Andean Buffet lunch as part of the exquisite Peruvian gastronomy.
In the afternoon we will visit the Ollantaytambo fortress which was a strategic military center. It is in Ollantaytambo where we will board the train to Aguas Calientes to visit Machu Picchu the following day.
DAY 6
Very early we will go to the bus station, to ascend to 400 m high for 30 minutes, finally we arrive to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu and enjoy the sunrise, the view is breathtaking, we will enjoy the guided tour for approximately 02 hours for you to know better the history and architecture of the Inca City of Machu Picchu. You will be amazed with the Inca constructions and temples, as well as the natural environment that surrounds it.
After the tour you will have free time to continue exploring and take pictures to remember your visit. In the afternoon we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes where you will have time to have lunch, rest and visit the town of Aguas Calientes. At the indicated time we will board the train back to Ollantaytambo where a staff will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel in Cusco.
DAY 7
Very early, at approximately 4:30 am we will pick you up from the hotel to go to the town of Cusipata - Paucarpata, (3310 masl.) A 2 hour trip south east of the city of Cusco, located on the road to the snowy Ausangate where we can enjoy a delicious breakfast, then continue our journey for 1 hour to reach the checkpoint and start the hike, (people who do not want to walk can rent a horse at the entrance control). We will start our hike for 1 hour and 30 minutes up the mountain until we reach the top, we will walk along a path that will gradually change the panorama between mountains of intense colors and small streams of icy water, we will arrive at the top of the wonderful mountain of 7 colors (Vinicunca), our guide will start with the explanation to learn more about the origin, orography, ecosystem and color of the mountain of colors.
Finally, you will have time to take souvenir photos, contemplate the fascinating landscape and observe the typical flora and fauna of the Andes, among which highlights the presence of Llamas and Alpacas. At the appropriate time we resume the walk to the starting point where we will enjoy lunch and then board the bus back to the city of Cusco, arriving at 17:00 hrs approximately.
DAY 8
For this day we plan our trip to the city of Puno, so we will have a bus service with stops at places of tourist interest, we will visit the picturesque village of Andahuaylillas, also the temple of San Pedro de Andahuaylillas, baptized as the Sistine Chapel of America, for its wealth of colonial art and mural paintings covering walls, plinths, ceilings and covers. Then we will have a buffet lunch in a country place, quiet and peaceful, where we delight ourselves with the regional culinary art, then we will visit Racchi, where we will visit the spectacular Inca sanctuary built by the Inca Pachacutec dedicated to the Great Inca God Wiracocha. It has a large central wall with stone base and other walls made of adobe, around the temple are several ancient buildings used as houses or warehouses, in the afternoon at 17:30 pm we will arrive in the city of Puno where we will transfer you to your hotel in Puno.
DAY 9
Early in the morning, we will depart on an unforgettable excursion on a boat on Lake Titicaca to visit the Floating Islands of the Uros, ancient pre-Inca inhabitants of the lake, known as the Aquatic Tribe. The Andean natives build their own islands by periodically adding new layers of totora reeds (Scirpus Totora), a vegetable fiber of the papyrus family. They also use this material to build their houses and boats where they now live. We will continue our excursion to Taquile Island, where we will observe Quechua natives who have developed, from generation to generation, the magnificent technique of weaving an efficient and original work with a united social system. After lunch at a local inn in Taquile, we will walk through its hills and archaeological sites. In the afternoon we will return to Puno.
DAY 10
Breakfast at the hotel and take the opportunity to walk the main streets, visit the churches and museums that surround the city of Puno, also you can taste the famous Peruvian cuisine. At an appropriate time, transfer to the Inca Manco Capac International Airport in Juliaca to board your departure flight to Lima.
