Full Tour Itinerary

Day 1: City Tour Cusco

Welcome and private transfer from Cusco airport to your hotel in Cusco. Tour the magnificent city of Cusco, surrounded by Inca constructions that hide the most important treasures of the Inca culture.

Starting at the majestic cathedral of Cusco, symbol of Andean religious syncretism, then we will walk through the narrow streets made of stone and visit the Qoricancha known as the temple of the sun, we will board the tourist bus that will take us to Sacsaywaman (The Royal House of the Sun), Then we will visit Q'enqo, a Quechua word that means labyrinth, dedicated to the worship of the earth, puca pucara, a guard post along the Inca roads, and finally we will visit Tambomachay, which was a center of worship and cult of water.

Night in Cusco

Day 2: Sacred Valley Tour

Full day excursion. We will pick you up at 8:00 am from your hotel to go to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

We will start visiting the archaeological center of Pisac located one hour from Cusco, which will give you an idea of the advanced knowledge that the Incas achieved in architecture, from one of its many natural viewpoints, we will observe the impressive landscapes and natural snowy Sacred Valley. We will have the opportunity to appreciate its famous and picturesque craft market and its various forms of trade. At noon, through the banks of the Vilcanota River, we will continue our journey to Urubamba to enjoy a delicious novo-Andean buffet lunch of exquisite Peruvian cuisine.

In the afternoon we will visit the fortress of Ollantaytambo which was a strategic military center. It is in Ollantaytambo that we will board the train to Aguas Calientes to visit Machu Picchu the next day.

Night in Aguas Calientes

Day 3: Machu Picchu and Machu Picchu Mountain

Full day excursion. We will pick you up at 8:00 am from your hotel to go to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Day 4: Seven Colors Mountain Tour (Vinicunca)

Full day excursion, very early, at 4:30 am approximately we will pick you up from the hotel to go to the town of Cusipata - Paucarpata, (3310 masl.) a trip that will take us 2 hours in direction to the south east of the city of Cusco, located on the way to the Ausangate snowy (5200 m. We will enjoy a delicious breakfast, then we will continue our trip for 1 hour to reach the checkpoint and start the hike, (people who do not wish to walk can rent a horse at the entrance control).

We will hike for 1 hour and 30 minutes up the mountain until we reach the top, we will walk along a path that will gradually change the panorama between mountains of intense colors and small streams of icy water that feed and give life to this valley, as we walk we will observe how the colors around us will be changing by the weather, we will reach the top of the wonderful mountain of 7 colors (Vinicunca).

Our guide will start with the explanation to learn more about the origin, orography, ecosystem and color of the colorful mountain.

Finally, after the guided tour, you will have time to take pictures, contemplate the fascinating landscape and observe the typical flora and fauna of the Andes, among which highlights the presence of Llamas and Alpacas. At the appropriate time we return to the starting point where we will have lunch and then board the bus back to Cusco, arriving at approximately 18:00 hrs.

Day 5: Free day Cusco – Airport

Free day to walk the main streets and visit the churches and museums that surround the city of Cusco. You can also taste the famous Peruvian cuisine in the surrounding restaurants or simply take a break on one of the benches in the Plaza de Armas and then take the classic photo for the memory. At an appropriate time, transfer to the Alejandro Velazco Astete International Airport in Cusco to board your departure flight.

QENQO
