The Abode of the Gods (Apukunaq Tianan) is a fascinating collection of giant sculptures carved by hand directly into the native limestone, depicting mythical deities such as the Pachamama (Mother Earth) and the Puma. Located just minutes from the city in the Sencca district, this tour is the perfect half-day escape to enjoy contemporary art, breathtaking panoramic views, and capture the most spectacular photos of your trip to Cusco.
The tour starts with the pick up at the Plaza de Armas or in hotels near the center of Cusco. From there we head to Tica Tica, specifically to the Sencca sector, where the abode of the gods is located about 30 minutes from Tica Tica in the direction of Sencca.
Upon arrival at the abode of the gods, you will receive a detailed explanation of each monument carved in stone present in the place. This site is one of the most recent and popular tourist attractions in the Cusco region, known for its impressive rock formations and natural surroundings.
Once at the Morada de los Dioses, you will have plenty of time to explore the site, marvel at the rock formations and enjoy the surrounding natural environment.
After enjoying the Abode of the Gods, you will be transferred back to Cusco, where the tour will end.
