Experiences

Walk through the Historic Center of Cusco

Getting lost in the cobblestone streets of Cusco will allow you to discover corners full of history and charm. Cusco is generally safe for tourists, especially in tourist areas, where police presence is constant. However, as in any destination, it is recommended to take basic precautions, such as avoiding lonely places at night and taking care of personal belongings, to enjoy the city without worries.

Exploring Machu Picchu

This wonder of the modern world is undoubtedly the jewel of any visit to Cusco. Machu Picchu is a sacred place surrounded by impressive mountains and lush vegetation.

You can reach this Inca citadel via the famous Inca Trail, a multi-day trek that follows the ancient routes built by the Incas, or by a train ride from Cusco, passing through spectacular scenery. Once there, you will explore the temples, terraces and plazas of this mystical place, while feeling the connection to the history and spirituality that permeates the place.

Remember to book your ticket in advance.

Visiting the Sacred Valley of the Incas

The Sacred Valley is home to the most important archaeological sites of the Inca Empire, such as Pisac, known for its mountaintop ruins and famous handicraft market, and Ollantaytambo, known as the last Inca city where ancient irrigation systems and fortifications can still be seen. Another fascinating place is Moray, with its circular terraces, believed to have been an agricultural laboratory for the Incas.

We recommend hiring a tour to explore these places without complications.

Sacred Valley
Humantay Lake

Explore the Humantay Lake and Rainbow Mountain

Both are full-day treks and represent two of the most popular destinations in Cusco. These excursions not only stand out for their impressive natural beauty, but also for the unique adventure experience they offer. Both the Humantay Lake and the Rainbow Mountain are not to be missed by those who are looking to immerse themselves in Andean landscapes in an intense day, full of spectacular views, physical effort and connection with nature. The photographs taken at these attractions are simply marvelous.

Adventure activities

Cusco is a perfect destination for adrenaline lovers. You can go rafting on the Urubamba River, which offers thrilling rapids and incredible views of the surrounding valley. There are also options for ziplining between mountains, mountain biking down dirt roads or exploring caves. If you prefer something more relaxed, you can go horseback riding in the mountains or even take an ATV tour of nearby villages and ruins, allowing you to combine adventure and culture in a single day.
