Places You Will Visit

Chinchero
Place 1

Chinchero

Chinchero is a quaint town located in the Sacred Valley, about 28 kilometers northwest of the city of Cusco. It is renowned for its vibrant handicraft market, where visitors can find a variety of textiles, ceramics and other handicrafts made by the local inhabitants. In addition, Chinchero boasts impressive Inca ruins, including agricultural terraces and architectural remains.

Moray
Place 2

Moray

Moray is a very peculiar archaeological complex due to its unique design of concentric circular platforms. These terraces served as an experimental agricultural laboratory during the Inca Empire. It is believed that the layout of the terraces and their strategic location created different microclimates that allowed experimentation with a variety of crops. The view from Moray is spectacular, with the terraced terraces creating a geometric pattern in the landscape.

Maras
Place 3

Maras

Maras is a quaint town located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, known primarily for its impressive salt mines. In addition to its natural beauty, the town preserves colonial architecture and cobblestone streets. The salt mines of Maras are a unique wonder, composed of thousands of salt evaporation pits dating back to Inca times.

Maras Salt Mines
Place 4

Maras Salt Mines

The salt mines of Maras are a natural and historical wonder, composed of more than four thousand salt evaporation wells that are filled with salt water from a natural spring located at the top. This salt water is allowed to evaporate gradually, leaving salt crystals that are collected and processed. The salt pans offer a breathtaking view, with a landscape that looks like something out of another world, where the salt wells create a mosaic of colors that vary according to the sunlight.

Urubamba
Place 5

Urubamba

Urubamba is a town located in the heart of the Sacred Valley, about 78 kilometers northwest of the city of Cusco. It is known for its beautiful natural landscape and its importance as an agricultural center in Inca times. In addition, Urubamba is an important tourist and service center in the region, where travelers often stop to enjoy the panoramic view of the valley and to enjoy its rich gastronomy.

Ollantaytambo
Place 6

Ollantaytambo

Ollantaytambo is another town in the Sacred Valley and one of the most important archaeological sites in the region. It was built by the Incas as a military fortress and administrative center. The ruins of Ollantaytambo show impressive Inca constructions, such as temples, agricultural terraces and water channels.

Pisaq
Place 7

Pisaq

Pisaq is another important town in the Sacred Valley, located approximately 31 kilometers east of Cusco. Pisac is known for its handicraft market, which is held every day and attracts tourists from all over the world. Here, visitors can find a wide variety of products, from textiles and jewelry to ceramics and food products. In addition, Pisac is famous for its archaeological complex, which includes agricultural terraces, temples, terraces and Inca tombs. From the top of the ruins, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the valley and the snow-capped peaks of the Andes.
