There are certain things you should not do during your trip to Machu Picchu because beyond the rules, some situations can cause not only a warning, but expulsion or worse, a lifetime ban from Machu Picchu.

Although you book and pay for your Machu Picchu ticket electronically, you will not be allowed to enter Machu Picchu if you do not present a printed copy of your ticket. For this you must print your ticket before arriving at the entrance to Machu Picchu, because once here, you will not be able to.
Some visitors to Machu Picchu have the bad idea of entering restricted areas of Machu Picchu, in some cases putting at risk the integrity of the Inca walls and buildings; the Inca city of Machu Picchu is protected by high definition security cameras; in case the Machu Picchu park rangers catch you entering cordoned off or forbidden areas, they will ask you to leave the Inca city, and you will definitely not like to do something like this, especially if you are coming from the other side of the world.
While it goes without saying, there are still people who apparently do not understand the enormous importance of the Inca City of Machu Picchu, and dare to damage the walls of the city; in case you do something like this, you will not only be banned for life from Machu Picchu National Park, but you will be prosecuted for damage to World Heritage areas.
In recent years there have been cases in which some visitors have taken off their clothes to be photographed naked, at first glance it seems to be just a joke; however, you have to remember that Machu Picchu is considered a sacred place and you will not be allowed to be naked in the vicinity and not only that, in some cases, depending on the seriousness of the situation, the authorities may decide to deny entry to Machu Picchu, for life.
Unless you are physically handicapped or very old, you will not be allowed to enter Machu Picchu with a walking stick, as it has been proven that the tips of walking sticks damage and cause erosion on the 500 year old Inca trails. Therefore, if you can prove that you need a walking stick inside Machu Picchu, it should have a rubber tip.
Not only because they are protected animals of the Machu Picchu Natural Sanctuary, but in some cases, these animals may react unexpectedly to unwanted attention; do not disturb llamas if you do not want to get an unpleasant surprise. Remember that annoying llamas spit, and not only among themselves, but they will lunge at you if they feel harassed.
Stay on the marked trails
While you are not at risk in Machu Picchu town, Huayna Picchu is different; many of the trails and stairways leading to the top of Huayna Picchu mountain were built into the side of cliffs several hundred meters high; to find your way around Huayna Picchu on your own is to put your life at risk. During your visit to Huayna Picchu follow the marked routes and the indications of your guide. Although people under 12 years of age are not allowed to enter, if you come with minors, you should be even more careful, since the impetus of minors can play a trick on you.
To carry out any type of attempt against the conservation of the Inca city and its lithic elements, which in addition to the administrative sanction, may be subject to police and judicial denunciation.
